Colleen Fitzpatrick

Colleen has been a Board member since 2008.  She has served on numerous boards in the past including the South Australian Council of Social Services and as a Director on the board of the SA Energy Industry Ombudsman. She currently chairs the Board of Advice for the Dame Roma Mitchell Trust Funds which provide grants for children and young people who are or have been under the Guardianship of the Minister for Child Protection (or her equivalent).

Colleen has worked as a social worker and as Director of Lutheran Community Care. Her last full time employment was as a Manager within Families SA. Colleen now belongs to several committees for the Lutheran Church of Australia including the Committee for Ministry with the Ageing. She also serves on the Domestic Violence Task Force and the Committee that responds to Inquiries and Royal Commissions.

Colleen has a Master of Social Work degree. She believes that faith without works is dead and that all of us are created in God’s image and that we are all precious in God’s sight.
